Seaweed

By October 12, 2014February 20th, 2019Uncategorized

For several months in winter, certain parts of our local beaches become covered by seaweed mountains. Incoming waves eat crevasses into the seaweed, creating blowholes of water, sea foam and excitement that simply beg to be jumped over.

Lots of (smelly) fun for kids and dogs and a bit of a tradition in winter. Here is an old seaweed jump image from 2011 on Flickr.
